Geography Quiz Night Apr 03, 2026 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Create your own team (2 grown-ups and 2 students) and join us for another fun-filled Geography Quiz Night in support of this year's international project, an elementary school for the village of Santa Cruz, Guatemala. As always, teams compete by answering geography questions about the world, the region, and locally, and the top teams receive prizes and bragging rights. As usual, there will be refreshments available for sale (many home-made items), a raffle, audience participation questions, and lots of laughs and learning going on for a great cause. Come to the Great Works School in South Berwick and the competition begins at 6 p.m. Mike and Cindy Moloney always pull together a well-organized event and the teams can use your support so please come and cheer them on, learn about the world, and maybe come home well-fed, with a prize of your own! Always a great time.

20 May 2026 Thanksgiving Meal for Eliot Senior Citizens May 20, 2026 10:30 AM - 1:30 PM Rotarians and town employees will serve a free multi-course Thanksgiving dinner at the Eliot Congregational Church to show our appreciations for our senior citizens. Turkey dinner with all the fixings, rolls, beverages, pies (donated by York Hospital) will be served by Rotarians and other community members and we are expecting some musical entertainment, too! Senior citizens will pre-register with the Eliot Recreation Department.

06 Jun 2026 Weekend Visit from Tuskegee Sister City Friends Jun 06, 2026 12:00 PM - Jun 07, 2026 4:00 PM Visitors from South Berwick's Sister City, Tuskegee, Alabama, through our long-lasting program "Common Ground", will be welcomed to South Berwick and numerous activities are planned. On Sunday afternoon, musicians from Tuskegee will entertain us with a concert at Shoetown Park and Rotarians will have their gelato wagon on hand to sell our home-makde gelato to those attending. Proceeds from gelato sales will go to the Tuskegee Sister City program to help continue this annual tradition.
