GEORGIA PENDLETON IS OUR MAY 2025 STUDENT OF THE MONTH
Rotarian Heidi Early-Hersey presents award to Georgia Pendleton at Marshwood Middle School
Proud family members, Marshwood educational staff and Rotarians celebrated Georgia Pendleton, an 8th grader at Marshwood Middle School, for her kindness, compassion, empathy, and "Service Above Self" at South Berwick - Eliot Rotary's very first Student of the Month celebration at its breakfast meeting on May 1st. Heidi Early-Hersey presented Georgia with a framed award as well as a gift and the ability to name an organization or cause to which the Rotary club will make a donation in her honor. One of her teachers, Ms. Sanzone, read a heartfelt description of the various ways Georgia cares for her fellow students and people in her community. We know that young people like her will serve as an inspiration to others to share kindness and caring in their daily lives.
