Rotarian Sydney Mosher Menard accepts a $5000 check from club Co-President Helen Goransson during a break from work duties at the campus of the Kita Center in Acton, Maine this past Saturday.  The place is nicely taking shape as a perfect respite for surviving family members and friends of people who have committed suicide.  The check represents a District 7780 grant plus donation from the club to help pay for supplies to update the bunk cabins where campers will stay next season.  Volunteers which included our club members, Rotarians from the Sanford club, current Camp Kita attendees, and other generous-hearted people, tackled a number of tasks to prepare the camp for the winter and next year.  There still remains a lot of work to do, but what a lovely place it's going to be next summer!
